Avicii: True Stories

YEAR: 2017 | LENGTH: 1 part (97 minutes)  |  SOURCE: WIKIPEDIA

The documentary follows DJ Avicii’s career and personal life, covering his ups and downs in the industry and his health scares. The film also features a 30-minute performance from his last set in Ibiza, which was held in August 2016. Featuring appearances by colleagues such as Chris Martin, Nile Rodgers, David Guetta and Wyclef Jean, the film explores the nature and intensity of fame from the artist’s point of view.

I wanted to do a brutally honest film about Tim as a person and not only about Avicii. Everybody knows Avicii but very few people know Tim. I think this documentary really shows Tim’s struggle and strength of character. Being a worldwide superstar artist is not as easy as it looks on Instagram –  Director Levan Tsikurishvili
